Articles of a Location

I decided that at least one version of all of this has to be completely public. No private matters, only things that are useful to the general populace, without exposing my private life. And here it is. Core is the entry point to this graph.

Since my 20's I've figured a "bootstrap", a simple over-arching structure that's worked pretty well for me so far, and I have not had a need to change it. Part of the reason is that this setup is so complex, once I step in, I get distracted or carried away on a task, and the structure never gets changed. This is a good thing. No need to make it simpler. If when I look at my "core" dashboard, I get distracted into doing useful work, I consider that a success.

I used to have the same summary-structure but simpler, by putting important things on my fingertips. Then, I'd carryn 5 (10 at most) important things. And some things (thumb) would be more important than others (pinkie). This has worked well, at least I would look at my hand and remember what I was supposed to be doing.

(A word aside: Looking at your own hands is actually a device to help you have lucid dreams - you can sometimes recognize that you are in a dream by looking at your hands. Or any other totem, but your hands are allegedly always there for you, hands as a dream totem seems to be pretty standard. More can be said about looking at your hands to gain focus - which is beyond the scope of this page.)

The structure is actually very simple: a 3x3 grid of things, with me in the center.
